En el juego entre Los Angeles Dodgers y los Colorado Rockies se enfrentaran el Nicaraguense Vicente Padilla y el Mexicano Jorge De La Rosa, Padilla quien fuera despedido este año por los Rangers donde en 18 aperturas dejo marca de 8-6 y 4.92 ERA viene a su primera presentacion con los Dodgers, historicamente ante los Rockies tiene record de 1-1 y 4.92 ERA en 3 aperturas aunque la ultima vez que se enfrento a ellos fue en el año 2006, por su parte De La Rosa atraviesa un excelente momento en la temporada ya que en sus ultimas 11 aperturas tiene record de 10-1 con 3.55 ERA, aunque ante los Dodgers este año tiene record de 0-1 en dos aperturas con 7.27 ERA.
